• Jazz Dance can be a variation of different styles. 'Traditional" Jazz, Musical theater Jazz, Lyrical Jazz, Funk, Swing, and sometimes even Hip-hop. It origins of Jazz dance began with African roots/influence. Slaves brought to America brought with them not only their dance styles but their music.
